BIO 2011

The annual convention of the Biotechnology Industry Organization is the leading event of the biotechnology industry. This year the big players gather in Washington, DC, USA.

The annual convention takes place from June 27-30, 2011 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre in Washington, DC.

The Convention is much more than just an exhibition.
More than 1,500 companies present themselves. And more than 15,000 expected attendees may look forward to over 100 sessions about latest trends, innovations and policy issues in biotechnology.
In addition, more than 2,100 companies from 45 countries participate in the Bio Business Forum. They can present themselves in one-on-one partnerings and establish contact with potential business partners or investors. 17,000 meetings have already been scheduled.

Heppe Medical Chitosan (HMC) will again be present at the joint stand of the TGZ Halle (Technology and Founders’ Centre) in the German Pavilion. You can find us in Hall A, booth 2205.
