HMC was represented at the Asia-Pacific Chitin and Chitosan Symposium 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan, by our CEO Katja Richter and our Quality Manager Torsten Richter. The symposium brought together researchers, industry experts and companies working with chitin and chitosan and offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on current developments in the field.

From 25 to 28 August 2025, HMC attended the 9th EPNOE International Polysaccharides Conference in Sundsvall, Sweden. Held every two years, the conference brings together scientists and industry representatives working on polysaccharides, renewable resources and new applications for bio-based materials. HMC was represented by our Senior Chemist, Dr. Christian Willems. We were also pleased to support this year’s conference as a sponsor.
