Publications in October 2011
The number of publications increased in October. So 144 articles about chitosan were released. Looking at the amount of publications the same countries as in September led the list.
Most publications came from China. In October 40 articles were published there. With 13 published articles India was in second place, followed by the USA with overall 11 publications.

In September a total of 62 articles were published in the field of chitosan.
In this month the most publications came from China where 10 articles were published. With 7 articles India was in second place followed by the USA where 6 articles were published.

Publications in August 2011
In August 58 authors and groups of authors reported about new scientific findings in the field of chitosan research.
With 20 articles in August China stands again on the top of publications. The second position is shared by the USA and India followed by South Korea.

Publications in July 2011
After dropping in the previous months, the publication number of chitosan articles slightly increased in July. Overall 76 articles were published in this field. In July 2010 83 articles were published, in comparison to this year it is only a small difference.

Publications in June 2011
70 articles were published in June, an obvious decrease of publications. For comparison, 84 articles were published in May. In June 2010 with 129 articles almost twice as much articles appeared, compared to this June.

Publications in May 2011
In May the publication rate of chitosan issues slightly dropped again. 84 articles were published which means six less than in April 2011, but two publications more than in May 2010.
