23. Europäische Biomaterialien Konferenz

HMC-11-10-01Vom 11.-15. September 2010 fand in Tampere in Finnland die 23. Europäische Biomaterialen Konferenz statt. Diese jährliche Konferenz der European Society for Biomaterials wurde in diesem Jahr von der Finnish Society for Biomaterials organisiert.
 
Auf der European Conference on Biomaterials (ESB) fanden mehr als 800 Wissenschaftler, Mediziner, Hersteller und Marketingspezialisten ein Forum, die Ergebnisse ihrer Arbeit zu präsentieren, neue Ideen zu entwickeln und neue Kontakte zu knüpfen.
 
Auch das Biopolymer Chitosan stand wieder im Fokus. Sowohl bei Vorträgen als auch auf Postern wurden Ergebnisse über die Forschung mit Chitosan präsentiert.

An zwei Tagen gab es Poster Sessions mit insgesamt 329 Postern.
